Motorists on Iron Horse Boulevard can expect lane closures starting Wednesday, May 31, 2017 while contractors make improvements to the railroad crossing. Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction throughout the project, which is expected to continue through the end of July. Please slow down and watch for workers in this area.
The Cotton Belt Trail will remain accessible to pedestrians and cyclists, although some minor trail detours at the roadway will be needed during the course of construction.
The improvements to the railroad crossing are part of the TexRail service that will extend from downtown Fort Worth to North Richland Hills, Grapevine and DFW Airport.
