Sounds of Spring Concert Series

City Hall Plaza - Concert

After four successful seasons at the NRH Centre Plaza, the Sounds of Spring concert series is moving to the NRH City Hall Plaza, located at 4301 City Point Drive, in 2018. Steadily growing attendance at the free Friday night concerts has highlighted the need for a roomier venue. Concertgoers will be able to take full advantage of the attractive space at City Hall Plaza, which was designed with outdoor public events in mind.

City Hall is located only 3.2 miles southwest of the NRH Centre Plaza. The location change will bring several advantages for audiences, including improved sight lines and added space for seating, along with more accessible parking. The municipal building provides a striking backdrop for music performances, with a built-in stage at the front of the rotunda and architectural lighting that illuminates the building as dusk falls.

Favorite elements of Sounds of Spring will remain the same, with food available for purchase from a variety of gourmet food trucks and the popular Kids Zone with free games and crafts on site at each concert. Picnic seating will be available to everyone on a first-come basis, so bring your lawn chairs and blankets.  Admission is free and parking is free. Gates open at 6 p.m. and the shows starts at 7 p.m.

Please visit the Sounds of Spring webpage to get parking directions and other event details. We look forward to seeing you, your friends and family each Friday, beginning April 13 through May 18, 2018.
