1. Will the City provide trash containers?

The City does not provide containers. Garbage must be containerized in a can, bag or box which is securely closed to prevent the scattering of the contents and to render the contents inaccessible to insects, rodents and other animals. The containers must not be larger than 33 gallons and weigh less than 50 pounds.

2. How do I report a missed pick up?

There are a couple of ways to report a missed pickup:

• Contact Duncan Disposal directly by calling 817-317-2450 and reporting the missed pick up or by entering a general inquiry on their website by clicking the link below.

• Contact Utility Customer Service at 817-427-6200 and they will call Duncan Disposal or enter a general inquiry on your behalf. Duncan Disposal Website

3. How do I get an extra recycle bin?

Extra recycle bins are available for a fee of $10.90 plus tax and can be picked at the Utility Customer Service Office at City Hall, 7301 NE Loop 820.

4. How do I get a dumpster for my business?

Upon request Duncan Disposal, the City's provider of garbage and recycling collection services, will provide containers for acceptable waste or recyclable materials on any premises within the city limits of North Richland Hills. Once a contract for services is signed with Duncan Disposal, the City bills for permanent and regularly scheduled service fees as provided by Duncan Disposal.
