City Hall and other non-emergency city offices will be closed for the Memorial Day Holiday. The NRH Public Library, Senior Center and Richland Tennis Center will also be closed. The NRH Centre, Iron Horse Golf Course and NRH2O Family Water Park will be open on Memorial Day. The City's trash and recycling schedule will not change for the holiday. Monday collections will be made as normal.

Bring the family to relax and enjoy music and fun at the North Richland Hills' annual Sounds of Spring Concert Series. Concerts will be held on the grounds of NRH2O Family Water Park, 9001 Boulevard 26, every Friday from April 27 through May 18. Concerts will begin at 7 p.m. Admission is FREE (Don't forget to bring a lawn chair.) Concessions will be offered for sale and there will be a free kids zone with games and other children’s activities.

The third Saturday of each month is “Garden Work Day” at the Common Ground Community Garden. Garden members and the community are invited to attend. The work day provides a great opportunity for gardeners and others to meet, share their gardening experiences and learn more about what’s happening at the Common Ground Community Garden.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to solve a mystery, break a code, catch a spy, and enjoy adventures with the 2012 Texas Reading Club at the NRH Public Library. City Hall
The North Richland Hills City Council meets at 7 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at City Hall. A work session may be held prior to the start of the regular meeting.
Regular City Council Meetings are broadcast live on the city’s website, Charter Cable Channel 27 and AT&T U-Verse Channel 99. Meeting videos are also archived on the city’s website and available to watch on demand at your convenience.

Learn CPR and save a life! The NRH Fire Department conducts CPR classes each month for the community. Classes are American Heart Association approved and each participant receives a book and course completion card. Three levels of training are offered:
• Heartsaver CPR – Learn basic CPR skills for infant, child and adult and learn how to use an AED. Cost is $25.
• Heartsaver CPR / First Aid – Learn CPR skills and how to use the AED, plus basic first aid such as helping someone with a broken bone or sprain. Cost is $30.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers – This course is designed to provide a wide variety of healthcare professionals the ability to recognize life-threatening emergencies, provide CPR, use an AED, and relieve choking in a safe, timely and effective manner. Cost is $35.
Classes are held in the Training Room at the NRH Fire Adminsitration Building.

Teen Court is held in the courtroom at the North Richland Hills Municipal Court. Teen Court is typically held the first three Mondays of every month, however the schedule is subject to change. Please check back for continued updates. No children Under 10 years old allowed in the court while Teen Court is in session.
