Support the AARC

Throughout the year, there are a number of opportunities to support the North Richland Hills Animal Adoption & Rescue Center.

Paws To Recycle

The Paws to Recycle Program is a way for residents to support the North Richland Hills Animal Adoption & Rescue Center and be environmentally responsible. Through this program, residents can donate newspaper, aluminum cans, ink cartridges, laser printer cartridges and cell phones to the shelter. The newspaper will be reused to line the cages or shredded for bedding. The cans and other items will be cashed in at recycling centers with the proceeds used to further the programs at the shelter.

Residents may also drop off newspaper, magazines, office paper, junk mail, catalogs and colored paper in the Abitibi bins located in the Wal-Mart parking lots on N.E. Loop 820 and North Tarrant Parkway. (Please no phone books, cardboard, trash, metal or glass.) The Animal Adoption & Rescue Center will be paid for the paper collected in these bins and the paper will be recycled.
