Scott Turnage - Mayor Pro Tem

Scott Turnage was elected to the City Council in May 2006 and re-elected in 2008. He previously served on the Council from 2002-2004 and is a former member of the Parks Board and the Planning & Zoning Commission.

A Northeast Tarrant County native, he is a 20 year resident of North Richland Hills. Mr. Turnage graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a BBA degree in 1982, worked as a bank executive for many years and then co-founded Uretek ICR, a contracting firm specializing in concrete lifting and stabilization.

Mr. Turnage's wife, Sue, is a bank executive, and he has two children, a son who attends Richland High School and a daughter who is a college sophomore. He and his family are members of St. Luke United Methodist Church. Mr. Turnage has served on the boards of several local charitable agencies, currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Safe Haven of Tarrant County, Inc.
