Collection Days
For residents north of the
Cottonbelt Rail Line, garbage is picked up on Tuesdays and Fridays. For
residents south of the Cottonbelt Rail Line, garbage is picked up on Mondays
and Thursdays. Residents receive recycling collection on one of their
designated garbage days. Click on the

Garbage cans and recycle bins should
be placed at the curb no earlier than 7 p.m. the evening before collection, nor
later than 7 a.m. the day of collection. Empty cans and bins should be removed
from curbside as soon after collection as possible and no later than the
following day.

Acceptable Waste
Duncan Disposal provides a
"Take All" service for residential garbage collection that
effectively accommodates collection of almost any non-hazardous residential
waste. "Take All" simply means they will collect all items placed on
the curb as long as they are containerized, in a can, in a bag, in a box or tied
and bundled. All materials including brush must be containerized or tied in
bundles not to exceed four (4) feet in length and fifty (50) pounds in weight.
If more than four (4) cubic yards, the customer must contact Duncan Disposal to
schedule pick up.
Hazardous Waste
Collection of refrigerators or
freezer units is prohibited unless certification is provided that C.F.C.'s have
been removed by a certified technician. Other hazardous waste items that are
not acceptable for landfill disposal include tires, batteries, petroleum
products, paints and other chemicals and solvents identified as hazardous. Household
hazardous waste may be disposed of at the
Recycling
Duncan Disposal also provides residential curbside recycling. Recyclable materials can be placed loose
in the plastic bin and do not need to be sorted by material type (this includes newspapers, magazines
and household paper). The materials will be sorted at Recycling Plant in Arlington. A list of acceptable
items that can be placed in your recycle bin is posted on the Duncan
Disposal web site. Recycle bins with lids may be obtained at the NRH Utility Customer Service Office located at
7301 N.E. Loop 820, Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Customers
receive one bin at no charge; additional bins are available at a cost of $8 per
bin.
Landfill
Duncan Disposal provides access to a
landfill located at 800 Mosier Valley in
