Household Hazardous Waste Disposal
The City of North Richland Hills encourages residents to dispose of household chemicals and other household hazardous waste in a safe, responsible manner. North Richland Hills residents can take household hazardous waste to the Environmental Collection Center (ECC) at 6400 Bridge St., Ft. Worth. When taking items to the center, residents must have at least enough hazardous waste to fill an 18 gallon bin (size of current recycle bin.) If you only have a couple of items, please combine these with a friend's or neighbor's to meet minimum load. Residents must also present a voucher to the ECC. The voucher is available at the NRH Neighborhood Services Department; 7200-C Dick Fisher Dr. S. Proof of residency is required. The City is assessed a fee of $47 per each participating household. Waste will no longer be accepted from NRH residents at the ECC without a voucher obtained from Neighborhood Services. For further information about disposal of household hazardous waste, please call Neighborhood Services at 817-427-6651 or the Environmental Collection Center at 817-871-5276, or check out their website.
