Welcome
As Fire Chief, I would like to be the first to welcome you to the Fire
Department web pages. We hope you enjoy your visit.
We in the North Richland Hills Fire Department are pleased to be able to share
an overview of our organization with you. We provide a broad spectrum of both
emergency and non-emergency services to the citizens and visitors of our
community.
Those services include emergency prevention education, fire code life safety
inspections, fire arson investigation, emergency management planning, advanced
life support ambulance service, and fire rescue response services. We also
provide both hazardous materials and explosives response teams through
partnerships with 13 other Northeast Tarrant County cities in an organization
called NEFDA (North East Fire Department Association). These services are
performed by a group of the very best fire and emergency service providers in
the entire state.make that the entire Country!!
The professional men and women of the North Richland Hills Fire Department are
truly the "best in the business!"
We respond out of four fire stations strategically located across our City. Our
fire stations are optimally located to minimize response times and maximize
coverage for ISO rating purposes. We are very fortunate here in North Richland
Hills to have the strong support of both the Mayor and City Council and the
City Manager's Office for a high performance Fire and Emergency Services
program second to none!
