How do I obtain copies of fire/ambulance reports?
Please call the Fire Administration Office at 817-427-6900 and state what report you are seeking. There is a fee associated with each report.

Is my personal medical information protected from disclosure?
The North Richland Hills Fire Department ambulance service is required by law to maintain the privacy of certain confidential health care information, known as Protected Health Information or PHI, and to provide you with a notice of our legal duties and privacy practices with respect to your PHI. What are the Fire Department's response times?
The North Richland Hills Fire Department has a response time goal of 4.5 minutes for the first unit to arrive after the call has been dispatched to the station. The Fire Department ambulance response time is 5.0 minutes after the call has been dispatched to the station. Average response time for all calls is about 5 minutes, 5 seconds. When calculating average response time, adding one minute for dispatcher services (telephone contact, locate the nearest piece of equipment, and dispatching of fire equipment) will reflect a more accurate estimation of time.

How do I request a Fire Safety program?
All fire safety education programs are scheduled with Fire Administration at 817- 427-6900.

How can I learn more about Fire Department policies and procedures?
The North Richland Hills fire department has two manuals for its daily operations. The first manual is titled "Standard Operating Guidelines", the second manual is titled "General Orders". Each manual contains approximately 250 pages. Copies of both of these Fire Department manuals are available for reading at the Fire Administration Office, located at 7202 Dick Fisher Dr. North.

Who can I contact regarding fire and explosive investigations?
Most questions concerning an ongoing investigation of any type cannot be discussed. Limited information can be obtained by calling 817-427-6900.

In order to obtain all available information regarding environmental surveys of a particular location, the caller must contact three different departments. These departments and phone numbers are:

All questions concerning the disposal of household type chemicals are to be directed to the Neighborhood Services Department at 817-427-6650.
