Fleet Services is responsible for the maintenance and management of City-owned vehicles and equipment. It is comprised of Fleet Services Administration, Equipment Services, and Fire Maintenance. The staff consists of 14 employees, including 8 mechanics. All mechanics are ASE Certified, with several holding Master Mechanic Certification. Other certifications include Forklift Operator Safety, Texas State Vehicle Inspection license, and Emergency Vehicle Technician. Staff is available 24 hours per day, seven days per week to meet emergency needs of the user departments.

The Equipment Services division provides scheduled preventative maintenance service and repairs for vehicles and equipment except large fire apparatus.

The Fire Maintenance division provides scheduled preventive maintenance service and repairs for all large fire engines, ambulances, and aerial trucks.
