Residential Swimming Pools
Private residential swimming pools are inspected at the time of construction to make sure they comply with construction and safety codes. Backyard swimming pools must be surrounded by a 6-foot tall fence with a self closing and latching gate. If you have a backyard pool, please click here to view our swimming pool safety checklist. Additional safety tips are available from the Centers for Disease Control & Prevention.
