Sean Hughes, Emergency Management/Homeland Security Coordinator
Sean has been with the City of North Richland Hills since January 1987. He served with the North Richland Hills Fire Department for almost 21 years and currently reports to the Police Chief. Sean is certified as a Master Firefighter, Master Instructor, Master Arson Investigator, Licensed Paramedic and Master Peace Officer. Sean has been designated as a Chief Fire Officer (CFO) by the Commission on Professional Credentialing. Sean is also a Certified Emergency Manager through the International Association of Emergency Managers, and a Texas Emergency Manager through the Emergency Management Association of Texas. Sean holds an Associates of Applied Science from Clackamas County Community College, a Bachelors Degree in Applied Arts and Science from the University of North Texas and a Master of Science in Fire Science at Grand Canyon University.
