CodeRED Emergency Notification System

The City of North Richland Hills now has the ability to notify you about emergency situations faster than ever before with the
CodeRED Emergency Notification System.
The CodeRED system enables the City to deliver pre-recorded emergency telephone messages to targeted areas, or the
entire City, at a rate of up to 60,000 calls per hour. Examples of times when the CodeRED system may be utilized
include severe weather, terrorism related emergencies, HAZMAT emergencies, extended utility outages, drinking water
contamination and other emergency situations where rapid and accurate notification is essential for life safety.
The CodeRED service is provided free of charge to all North Richland Hills residents. To receive CodeRED calls, you
