CodeRED Emergency Notification System

The City of North Richland Hills now has the ability to notify you about emergency situations faster than ever before with the CodeRED Emergency Notification System.

The CodeRED system enables the City to deliver pre-recorded emergency telephone messages to targeted areas, or the entire City, at a rate of up to 60,000 calls per hour. Examples of times when the CodeRED system may be utilized include severe weather, terrorism related emergencies, HAZMAT emergencies, extended utility outages, drinking water contamination and other emergency situations where rapid and accurate notification is essential for life safety.

The CodeRED service is provided free of charge to all North Richland Hills residents. To receive CodeRED calls, you will need to click on the CodeRED icon and enter your contact information.
