Library

The North Richland Hills Public Library opened in its new location at 9015 Grand Avenue on
April 19, 2008. The library offers a wide variety of books, videos, CDs, and other information
resources and services. Features of the library include:
- 49,000 square feet of finished space and 10,000 square feet of shell space for future expansion;
- A collection of approximately 172,000 volumes;
- A dynamic children's area with space for story times;
- Small business assistance office;
- Career center for job seekers;
- 6 study rooms;
- 2 public meeting rooms;
- Local history room;
- Cafe, proudly serving Starbucks coffee;
- New Radio Frequency Identification Technology, also known as RFID, to speed up the process of checking out books and tracking library inventory;
- 75 public computers for searching the library catalogs and accessing the internet;
- Free wireless internet services.
