Art in Public Spaces Program
By integrating art into daily life, the City of North Richland Hills Art in Public Spaces Program beautifies public areas, improve our quality of life and creates a distinctive identity for our community. Since 2002 the City has commissioned 14 original artworks, representing diverse media and materials, for residents and visitors like to enjoy. Click here to visit our Art in Public Spaces web page and learn more about the artwork on display in North Richland Hills.

Signal Art Program
To further enhance the public art program, a new initiative involving city traffic signal boxes is in the process of being implemented. The program commissioned artists to design original artwork for traffic signal boxes throughout the City. Initially the program will include 11 signal boxes at various locations throughout the City with an emphasis on pedestrian access or highly visible areas. The purpose of this program is the integrate the traffic signal boxes into the surrouding physical landscape and to beautify public spaces. The initial three boxes have been installed on Holiday Lane at Liberty Way, Oath of Allegiance, the second installation is on Rufe Snow at Dick Lewis, Pigfish, and the third installation is on Rufe Snow at Stardust, Red Horse Rider.
