About NRH Centre
The City Council and Park Board broke ground on December 9, 2010 for this 86,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility, which will be centrally located at 6000 Hawk Avenue near the North Richland Hills Public Library. The NRH Centre will offer amenities for all age groups including: 

  • An expansive, well equipped fitness center with the latest in fitness technology and equipment 
  • Longest indoor suspended walking/running track in Texas 
  • Group fitness studios and classes that will include: Zumba, Yoga, Turbo Kick, SilverSneakers and Spin 
  • Customized Personal Training and Massage Therapy 
  • Indoor Aquatics Center including: a loop water slide, interactive spray features, resistance
    channel, 3 lap lanes, rock climbing wall and a whirlpool 
  • Double gymnasium for leagues and drop-in play 
  • The Grand Hall, a distinctive upscale rental space that includes a one-of-a-kind roof top terrace 
  • The Senior Center, a separate wing designed for those ages 55 or better (membership not required) 
  • Kids Club for convenient drop-in babysitting 
  • Outdoor Plaza to accommodate up to 1,000 people

The new facility will incorporate sustainable design, achieving LEED certification. LEED certification recognizes that a building will be environmentally friendly by utilizing green building practices during construction.
