Keep NRH Beautiful and its volunteers have received the following awards and honors in recent years:

2011
Keep NRH Beautiful board member Diane Spradling has been named the 3rd place winner in the Keep Texas Beautiful Volunteer of the Year Award. This state award recognizes individuals who've supported the mission of Keep Texas Beautiful through extraordinary efforts and contributed to the betterment of their community. Diane was nominated for her hard work on the Common Ground NRH Community Garden and work with Keep NRH Beautiful.

2010
Keep NRH Beautiful was honored as one of 10 winners of the 2010 Governor’s Community Achievement Awards for outstanding community improvement. The award is one of the most coveted annual environmental and community improvement honors in Texas. The winners share $2 million in landscape grants from the Texas Department of Transportation, with North Richland Hills receiving $270,000 for a landscaping project along a local state highway.

Keep NRH Beautiful Chairperson Kathy Luppy was presented the Sade Ray Graff Award from Keep Texas Beautiful. This award recognizes those who promote environmental education and promote youth involvement.

2009
Keep NRH Beautiful received the 2008-2009 Sustained Excellence Award from Keep Texas Beautiful. Keep NRH Beautiful was recognized for scoring 90 or above for the past 3 consecutive years on the Governor’s Community Achievement Award.

2008
Keep NRH Beautiful and CitiCable NRH were recognized by Keep Texas Beautiful as the 1st place winner in the Media Awards Commercial/Promotional category. This award recognizes the public awareness and education efforts of media in supporting environmental issues.

Keep NRH Beautiful received 2nd place in the Governor’s Community Achievement Award for Category 7 (Population 50,001 – 100,000).
