Welcome to the health and food safety section of the North Richland Hills website. Our division is charged with protecting the health and safety of the public. We ensure that all food service establishments, mobile food vendors, public and semi-public swimming pools and child care centers meet safe and sanitary requirements.

We develop and implement health education, investigation and enforcement programs. Our division also issues permits for waste haulers.

Additional public health services are provided by Tarrant County Public Health Department and the Texas Department of State Health Services.
