Ken entered the Insurance business with Aetna as an agent. Later, he became a supervisor and Marketing Manager for the North Texas Territory. In 1987, he transferred to corporate headquarters in Hartford, Ct. where he remained for 11 years.

During this time, he served as Head of Operations for the Life Insurance Company and was founder of and Officer in Charge of Aetna Life Brokerage. He commuted to Bryn Mawr, Pa. during this time to complete his college residency and earn a Master of Science Degree in Financial Services.

After Aetna sold his Division to a competitor, he accepted the position of President of the Brokerage Division of Zurich Kemper Life in North Barrington, Illinois and remained there until moving to North Richland Hills in 2001.
