Welcome to North Richland Hills
Just minutes from Dallas and Fort Worth, North Richland Hills is the third largest City in Tarrant County with more than 67,300 residents, 1,200 businesses and 30 major employers. Our community has much to offer with an excellent blend of neighborhoods, parks, dining, shopping, office and manufacturing space. We have a low crime rate, excellent public school system, one of the best public libraries in the state and a nationally recognized parks and recreation program.

In 2006, North Richland Hills was named by Money Magazine as one of the 100 Best Places to Live in the United States. Cities making the list had the best possible blend of good jobs, low crime, quality schools, plenty of open space, reasonable home prices and lots to do.

In 2014, North Richland Hills tied for first on the Dallas Morning News' list of the Top 10 Safest Neighborhoods in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. North Richland Hills also made the list in 2013.

In 2014, the high schools serving North Richland Hills (Birdville, Richland and Keller high schools) were ranked among the top 150 high schools in Texas by U.S. News & World Report. With more than 1,700 high schools in the state, this puts them in the top 10 percent.
