Good Times, Great Music in North Richland Hills!

Each Spring, North Richland Hills presents the Sounds of Spring Concert Series. Visitors can enjoy 6 Friday nights of live music by the areas best musicians for FREE! Plan to join us April 15 through May 20, and bring your friends and family, along with your lawn chairs and blankets - out for fun, great music and relaxation under the stars at the NRH Centre Plaza!

2016 Season Brings 4 New bands and 2 Returning Favorites!

Our 2016 season opens on April 15 with the very popular Tejas Brothers. Specializing in "music that makes people happy," this lively quartet will get toes tapping and hands clapping in their Sounds of Spring debut. 

Vocalist and songwriter Ellen Hinton takes the stage with her band, Ellen Once Again, on April 22. Ellen's smooth and happy pop-jazz style will win her many new fans as she makes her NRH debut. Join us April 22 so you can say you saw her "when"! 

Chris Watson brings his powerhouse southern soul to Sounds of Spring on April 29. Chris is a multi-talented musician, singer and songwriter. He's the real deal, whether he's covering Al Green, Blood, Sweat & Tears or playing one of his own high-energy tunes.

On May 6, audience favorite Memphis Soul return to North Richland Hills. Come on out for some classic hits performed by one of the area's best dance and party bands. Enjoy hits from the 60's, 70's and beyond ... and bring your dancin' shoes!

Beatles tribute band The Eggmen drive up from their home base in Austin on May 13. As it states on their website, "These blokes know the music of the sixties like no one else, with the exception, of course, of the blokes who actually created the music of the sixties!" 

The 2016 season will close with the return of Celtic rockers, The Killdares on May 20. Don't miss this energy-filled band that amazingly fuses power pop and rock with traditional Celtic instruments and rhythms.

Location & Time 
Sounds of Spring Concerts are held at the NRH Centre Events Plaza, 6000 Hawk Avenue, between the NRH Centre and the Public Library. Gates open at 6 p.m. and concerts begin at 7 p.m. Seating is on the lawn, so don't forget your blankets or lawn chairs. 

Admission 
Admission is free and parking is free. A kids zone with free games and a variety of arts and crafts is available at each concert for the younger music fans in attendance. Delicious edibles are available for purchase from a variety of gourmet food trucks or you are welcome to bring your own picnic, but please no glass containers.

The Events Plaza is a tobacco free park in accordance with City Ordinance #2249. The following are not allowed: video and audio recording, unauthorized vendors, glass containers. Also, please no two-wheel scooters or skateboards.

Parking
Parking is available in three different lots for the concerts and is on a first come, first served basis. Handicap parking is also available. Follow the parking signs that will direct you to Sounds of Spring parking. PARKING MAP
