Citizens Fire Academy Begins April 10
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a firefighter? Well now you can experience this exciting
profession first hand. The North Richland Hills Fire Department is hosting an 8 week Citizens Fire Academy
starting April 10th where you can learn how the North Richland Hills Fire Department prepares for life-threatening
emergencies and provides many important services to the citizens of North Richland Hills.
During the course students will meet weekly on Thursday evenings and:
- Learn about all the various disciplines involved in firefighting;
- Ride along with the firefighters during their first shift and experience it first hand;
- Participate in a live fire training exercise at the end of their program.
