Discover: Project Green

The City of North Richland Hills is inviting the community to Discover: Project Green.

Discover: Project Green will be held in Cross Timbers Park, located at 7680 Douglas Road, on Saturday, March 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This FREE event will focus on conservation, preservation of natural resources, and steps to sustainability. The knowledge obtained at this event can provide the community the ability to reduce their negative effect on the earth and to increase their environmental awareness.

Discover: Project Green will provide educational experiences for the whole family with kid friendly activities including: a kids dig, climbing wall, live native animals, scavenger hunt and more. The event will also include guest panelists, a green market, hybrid car show, tree sapling giveaway, dirty sock contest, native plant gardening demonstrations and tours of the native Cross Timbers prairie.
