Restaurant Scores Now Online
As a convenience to residents, the City of North Richland Hills is now posting restaurant inspection scores online. To use this new service, click here or go to the "Online Services" tab on the left side of the home page and select "Restaurant Inspection Scores."
There are approximately 300 licensed food service establishments in North Richland Hills including full service restaurants, fast food, grocery stores, convenience stores, child care facilities and temporary food service events. The city's Consumer Health Division inspects each establishment 1 to 4 times per year.
The inspections are scored using a demerit system in accordance with the Texas Food Establishment Guidelines. It is important to remember that the scores represent only a snapshot of the facility at the time the inspector arrived. The conditions could be better or worse while an inspector is not present.
New inspection scores will be posted online monthly. Residents can sign up to receive e-mail notifications when new scores are available.
