NRH Maintains 57 Cent Tax Rate
At their September 8 meeting, the North Richland Hills City Council adopted the 2008-2009 budget and tax rate. The tax rate was set at 57 cents per $100 property value, making this the 16th consecutive year the City has maintained the same tax rate.
Individual property tax bills may stay the same, increase, or decrease, depending on the changes in property value. Only 36 percent of North Richland Hills homes increased in value over the past year. The City tax rate is only one portion of a resident's overall property tax bill.
