The City of North Richland Hills encourages residents to get involved in their community by participating in one of the following volunteer opportunities:

       Animal Adoption & Rescue Center
Boards & Commissions
Citizen's Fire Academy
Citizen's Police Academy
Community Emergency Response Team
Keep NRH Beautiful
Neighborhood Initiative
Teen Court
Youth Advisory Committee

Volunteering allows citizens to learn more about local government and their community, to meet new people and to help others. Through participation in these programs you can make a difference and help make our community an even better place to live.

Super Bowl XLV Volunteer Opportunities

The North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee invites you to be part of its team as a Super Bowl XLV volunteer. Some 10,000 volunteers are needed to welcome and assist guests coming to North Texas for Super Bowl XLV which will be played Sunday, February 6, 2011 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. The volunteers will be the faces of North Texas during the weeks leading up to Super Bowl XLV. Anyone interested should visit www.northtexassuperbowl.com and select “volunteer” to begin volunteer registration. The North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee will train all volunteers. The volunteers will staff numerous activities and venues throughout the region, including the area’s airports, major hotels and the NFL Experience. All volunteers will be issued a limited edition and official volunteer uniform and will also be invited to a volunteer appreciation event in the weeks following Super Bowl XLV. If you are interested in volunteering, please sign up as soon as possible to ensure this opportunity to be part of Super Bowl XLV!
