Youth Advisory Committee

Overview
The purpose of the Youth Advisory Committee is to serve as a liaison between
the City Council and the Youth of the community on the issues affecting youth.
As an advisory board to the City Council, the Youth Advisory Committee will
empower youth by giving them an opportunity to use their voice to express
concerns and issues while allowing them to make changes that affect the youth
in our community.
The Youth Advisory Committee hosts guest speakers on topics effecting the youth
of our community, organizes philanthropies each semester, and gives reports to
the City Council each semester.
The Youth Advisory Committee is a great opportunity to learn about the
community and local government, to serve the community through volunteering,
and meet new friends.
