Waste Hauler Permit

Requirements


Liquid waste haulers that remove wastes from grease traps, grease interceptors, sand/grit traps, sand/grit interceptors, septic tanks, and chemical toilets within North Richland Hills city limits must be permitted and inspected by the city.

Permits must be renewed annually. Waste haulers must also purchase and use North Richland Hills trip ticket books through the Neighborhood Services Department Consumer Health Division in order to monitor waste removal from businesses.

A copy of the manifest with the amount of waste removed must be left at the business, and the waste removal company must provide a copy of the manifest to the City of North Richland Hills Regulatory Compliance Specialist at 7200A Dick Fisher Dr, North Richland Hills, TX 76180.

Grease traps/interceptors must be cleaned at least quarterly (every three months) per North Richland Hills code of ordinance.
