Citizens Police Academy

Program Goal

The slogan of the Citizens Police Academy is "Understanding through Education." This program is designed to provide the citizens of North Richland Hills with first-hand information about their Police Department. Throughout the academy, participants are encouraged to ask questions and discuss topics with department personnel. Our intent is to acquaint citizens with law enforcement's role in the criminal justice system and provide an increased understanding of the tasks police officers face in their daily work.
