Overview

Keep NRH Beautiful is an affiliate of Keep Texas Beautiful. The purpose is to promote beautification of the city, educate the public about environmental issues and provide opportunities throughout the year for residents to volunteer and give back to their community. The Keep NRH Beautiful Commission meets monthly to plan programs and events.

Volunteer

Keep NRH Beautiful relies heavily on volunteers for its cleanup and beautification projects. Businesses, civic organizations, scout troops, school groups, churches, individuals and families can Adopt A Spot, volunteer for a LitterNot clean up or help with special events throughout the year. To get involved, please contact us by email or call 817-427-6650.

Governor's Community Achievement Award

Keep North Richland Hills Beautiful was honored in 2016 with the Keep Texas Beautiful Governor's Community Achievement Award for outstanding community improvement and a $250,000 grant from the Texas Department of Transportation for landscaping improvements along state-maintained roadways in our community. This honor is a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our Keep NRH Beautiful commission members and volunteers and is something for all NRH residents to be proud of. This was the second time KNRHB received this prestigious honor. They were also honored in 2010 and awarded a $270,000 landscaping grant.

The following video produced by Keep Texas Beautiful showcases Keep NRH Beautiful's many accomplishments.
