Board members are nominated by the City Council. The mayor is responsible for the nomination of the alternate. Nominations are subject to approval by a majority of the City Council.
Board members serve two-year terms.
Powers & Duties
The board shall act in an advisory capacity to the mayor, City Council and library director. It shall be the duty of the board to study and determine the needs of the city for public library facilities and services.
