Youth Summer Camp
Hanging with the Heat Summer Camp
IN LIGHT OF THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, WE HAVE CANCELED THE 2020 SUMMER CAMP.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hanging with the Heat is a leadership camp full of activities and community service projects. Activities include ice skating, public safety expo, two community service projects, golf driving range and a visit to NRH2O.
- Students must have completed 6th, 7th or 8th grade
- Must be enrolled in one of the three BISD middle schools, Fort Worth Christian School, St. Johns the Apostle Catholic School or International Leadership School within the city limits of North Richland Hills
- Students must be passing all courses/classes
- The student and parent/guardian will sign a behavior contract. Failure to sign the contract or a violation of the contract will result in removal from the camp
Space is limited. For fairness, our selection process will be conducted entirely by raffle. Please understand that an application is not a confirmation that you will be in the camp. If selected to attend, you will be contacted by telephone.
Transportation to and from the camp is the responsibility of the parent/guardian. Food and activities during the camp will be paid for by sponsors. Participant confirmation raffle will be held on May 13th at 8:00 pm. If your child is selected, we will contact you no later than May 16th.
There will be a mandatory meeting for parent/guardians at a later determined date to provide the guardians with camp information and waivers.
If you have any questions, please contact Officer McEachran (817-427-7024) or Officer Kasterke (817-427-7040).
