When taking the test, individuals will not be allowed to bring anything into the testing facility. Cell-phones, notes, etc. should be left in a safe place prior to testing.

What is a passing score?
A passing score of 70% is required to obtain the NRH Food Handler Card.
What happens if I fail the exam?
If you do not pass the exam with 70% you may pay to retake the exam. You may not re-take the exam on the same day. You must review the class information and test another day. The cost of taking a second exam is another $21 per person ($8 if 62 years old or more).
How long is my Food Handler Card good for?
Your NRH Food Handler card is valid for 3 years after the issue date.
