With the exception of public safety services, NRH City Hall and most city services will be closed on Friday, January 1, 2021 for the New Year's holiday. Residential garbage and recycling will not be collected on New Year's Day. Friday collections will be picked up on Saturday instead.

Following are holiday schedules for other city facilities: 

  • Animal Adoption & Rescue Center: Closed January 1.
  • Iron Horse Golf Course: Open on New Year's Day.
  • Library: Closed January 1. 
  • NRH Centre: Open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on New Year’s Day. 
  • NRH Municipal Court: Closed January 1.
  • NRH Senior Center: Closed January 1.
  • Richland Tennis Center: Closed January 1.
