Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training promotes a partnership between emergency service providers and the community they serve.

Participants will learn how to prepare themselves for hazards that may affect the community and how to assist first responders. If a disaster or emergency strikes North Richland Hills and overwhelms or delays emergency responders, trained Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) members may be called upon to help until additional emergency responders arrive. 

CERT is open to NRH residents and those who work in North Richland Hills. There is no cost to participate, but space is limited and advanced registration is required.  An online application is available on the CERT web page.
