Wall of Honor, Nov. 6 - 10
The City of North Richland Hills will host a Veterans Day Wall of Honor in the City Hall lobby Nov. 6 - 10. It will feature flags recognizing all branches of the military, patriotic decorations and photos of community members who have served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces.
Members of the public are invited to submit 4”x6” photos of Veterans to be displayed on the Wall of Honor. Please e-mail photos to tearle@nrhtx.com with the following information: Veterans first and last name, branch of service and years of service. The deadline to submit a photo is Nov. 2. The display will be open for viewing daily between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Veterans Day Celebration, Nov. 10
Make plans to join us for the city’s 16th Annual Veterans Day Celebration to honor those who have served in the armed forces on Friday, Nov. 10 at 11 a.m. The celebration will be held in the NRH City Hall Outdoor Plaza, 4301 City Point Dr. and will include a wreath of honor, NRH Police and Fire Honor Guard presenting the colors, patriotic music and performances. In case of inclement weather, the event would move into the City Hall lobby. For more information, please call 817-427-6620.
