Police Body Cameras

Body Worn Camera

The North Richland Hills Police Department recently announced that body worn cameras have been issued to all sworn police officers, public service officers and crime scene examiners. The body worn cameras provide an added layer of transparency that benefits both the community and officers as they work in partnership to keep our community safe. The purchase of the cameras was made possible thanks in part to a $94,000 grant from the state. To learn more, view the Police Department’s press release about the body worn camera program.
