About the Park
Liberty Park is a 3-acre neighborhood park that was dedicated on May 21, 2005. The park is home to the city's Veteran's Monument. The brick sculpture by artist Donna Dobberfuhl is a tribute to the sacrifices made by our military from World War I to the present. The surrounding plaza includes historical and inspirational inscriptions with benches for quiet reflection. There is also a shaded pavilion with picnic tables, playground, a walking trail, and a fishing pond.
SWIMMING, WADING, OR BOATING IS PROHIBITED IN ALL NRH PARK PONDS - NO SWIMMING ALLOWED PER CITY ORDINANCE 62-11-12.
