The City of North Richland Hills conducts an audible test of the 10 outdoor emergency warning sirens on the 1st Wednesday of each month. The test will not be performed if threatening weather is near or there is low cloud cover.

The North Richland Hills Planning & Zoning Commission holds regular meetings at 7 p.m. on the first and third Thursday of each month in the City Council Chamber at City Hall. A work session may be held prior to the start of the regular meeting.

Northeast Tarrant Teen Court is held in the courtroom at the North Richland Hills Municipal Court. Teen Court is typically held the first three Mondays of every month, however the schedule is subject to change. No children Under 10 years old allowed in the court while Teen Court is in session.

The North Richland Hills Youth Advisory Committee typically meets on the second Wednesday of the month, during the school year. Meetings begin at 6 p.m. in the Community Room at City Hall.

For 2020 The NRH Easter Bunny is going on a Egg-cellent adventure throughout several NRH Parks! POP UP EGG HUNTS are coming to several NRH Parks on Friday, April 10 at 1pm with exact locations announced the day of the event! Keep an eye out for filled eggs for you to grab and go. Kids, have your baskets ready and keep a watch on Social Media for the locations! The Hunts will be in four parks on Wednesday, April 8 at 6pm and four parks more parks on Friday, April 10 at 1pm. Park names will be announced one hour before the Pop Up Hunt on social media and website. As an Egg-stra Treat, each park on the POP UP Egg Hunt tour will have 1 Bunny Prize Egg! So, check your eggs for special instructions.

Seating begins at 6 p.m. and the concert starts at 7 p.m. Seating is on the lawn, so don't forget your blankets and lawn chairs.

Learn CPR and save a life! The NRH Fire Department conducts CPR classes each month for the community. Classes are American Heart Association approved and each participant receives a book and course completion card.

The North Richland Hills Police Department invites you to Ride for a Reason on April 25, 2020 from 12 – 4 p.m. at Northfield Park, 7804 Davis Boulevard. The 10-mile bicycle race has a $25 entry fee (includes registration and a t-shirt) benefiting Special Olympics. There will be a civilian division, as well as a police division, and prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers. There will be plenty of family fun to include: bounce houses, food, a DJ and face painting.
