The City of North Richland Hills conducts an audible test of the 10 outdoor emergency warning sirens on the 1st Wednesday of each month. The test will not be performed if threatening weather is near or there is low cloud cover.

Learn CPR and save a life! The NRH Fire Department conducts CPR classes each month for the community.

NRH Police and Fire have partnered with NRH Parks to co-host this event alongside the Sounds of Spring Concert. Come join us as we have police cars and fire trucks to peek inside of. We'll also have members of our team there to share information, safety tips, and treats! You can also get ahead of the game and register your National Night Out Block Party for October's event.

Chief Jimmy Perdue has been in public service for over 40 years, just short of 18 of them serving as the North Richland Hills Chief of Police/Director of Public Safety. The community is invited to join in his retirement reception on Wednesday, May 24, in the Grand Hall at the NRH Centre, 6000 Hawk Ave. A public meet and greet will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., followed by a ceremony and remarks at 3 p.m.
