About the Park

Tommy and Sue Brown Park is a 22.5-acre neighborhood park with a wetland preserve. It opened in 2005 and was named for former North Richland Hills Mayor Tommy Brown and his wife. The park features a playground, disc golf course, shaded pavilion with picnic tables, practice fields, open space play areas, and walking trail.

The park is home to a massive hand-carved limestone sculpture titled Monument to Nature by artist Eliseo Garcia. The four-sided sculpture incorporates images of nature, wildlife, and humanity.
